the night fades away with the comfort of the day.

she buries those secrets in the back of her mind.
the lies in her eyes, she finally realized,
& the pain deep inside, she needs to hide.
for you. for us. her heart she will trust.
one day. someday. she'll give it away.
she'll let you know how the story goes.
she'll show you what lies deep.
the secrets she hums in her sleep.
but right now's not the time..
