retreat.

boo. havent found the time to post lately.
so basically retreat last weekend was the most AMAZING thing EVER. no joke. its so crazy how much one weekend can do! just to live with a group of people for three days can bring you all together SO FAST. i have to admit. weeks ago, during all the speeches for officer positions, i honestly didnt believe a lot of the seniors when they said, "i wanna make this class so tight..im going to try hard to make us a family." BLAH BLAH BLAH. honestly, i had a few grudges against certain people, and i didnt like certain people though i didnt really KNOW KNOW them yet. and now i say, i am glad to be proven wrong. after retreat, i can believe those speeches and i regret ever making judgments about people before getting to know them. these people who claimed they wanted to make our class tight, really DO want us to be a family. which makes me try harder, too, to make friends and be cool with people. and not only do they just WANT it, they strive and make an effort to DO so. which makes me feel guilty for ever doubting them. BUT enough of that drama. this revelation made me ten hundred times more excited for this year in choir!! but ABOUT RETREAT! it was sooo much fun! laughing and being crazy during dinner, dancing for like twelve hours saturday, playing never have i ever, playing the mormon kissing game, making skits, bonding, TALKING, sneaking out for a night hike...it was all just so AMAZING! i can see us now at the end of the year...closer than i would have ever believed. haha. oh the irony of life.
